Mystery Quilt - Improving the Pattern

I've been working on this quilt as much as possible, although it's not as frequent as I wish!

 I filled in around the swirls with more pebbles and I like it a lot better.

I saw this pattern in a quilt shop on Friday. Isn't it so pretty? Saving for future ideas....
