Quilting Weekend

I spent a great weekend quilting! Saturday Sandy and Sheree came over to sew and today Jenn came over and worked on decorations for Luke's second birthday party while I quilted.

Most of the quilting is black on black, so it's hard to see, but here is my first feather on the peacock quilt (pictured from the back):

Crochet, day 2

Learning to crochet is hard. Lois showed me how again last night. Still seems like magic - when she does it.

Stack and Whack, Complete

I think our babysitter for whom I made the stack and whack liked it!  I hope so anyway.  It looks best from a distance, like this, so you can see all the pinwheels.  It's a bit busy up close.  :-(

I did that sort of fan pattern in the light blue border and I loved how that turned out!

It looked especially cool from the back.  :-)
