All right! Today I finished Celina's invitations; mailed the invitations for the wedding shower that my mom is hosting; and completed 7 sample invitations to send to my cousin Anna! I hope I don't overwhelm her. :-) What a great amount to get done today! Now off to mend some chairs in preparation for this weekend. Seth is at Yaya's and Papu's so I should take advantage of his absence! And also, I need to stay busy so I'm not mopey!

Keeping Up.
Yuck. It's hard to keep my weight down what with the hockey gaming and the bridesmaid brunching and the bachelorette partying. YIKES!

The dress.
My bridesmaid dress officially fits and I don't even have to hem it because it's the perfect length with my new shoes! Yay!

Update.
I'm not getting any closer to 170, but I'm not getting any closer to 180, either! This week, I must buckle down! That's what I keep telling myself, anyway. Right now, I'm STARVING. :-)
I am so close to being done with two quilts! That is exciting. Hopefully I'll get them done this week and get one in the mail.
I need to print out the front part for the wedding invites I'm working on, and work up some samples to show my cousin who is getting married. Hopefully I'll get to make her invites! I would like to go to her wedding, but I don't think I'll be able to. It's in March and I won't have any time off.

A good week!
I now have two quilts that are ready to be hand-bound! I need to get at least Nanette's done quickly so that I can get paid! :-) I am making some stationary for my mom for gifts, as well, so that will be nice to get paid for as well. Off to Abilene this weekend, though, so no cardmaking will get done, I'm sure! However, I may be able to get Nanette's quilt bound.

Update.
While I had a great week visiting with my mom and my aunt, I only made it to the gym once. :-( Just on Monday, when I had my awesome weigh and measure with Joel. However, luckily I haven't gained weight! I am at 176 on my scale, which I am fine with. I do have a goal now to get down to 170 by the end of the month, though.
Also, I need to buy shoes to go with that dress and get the dress hemmed to fit the shoes.

Woo hoo!
I did an official weight and measure with Joel tonight and I have lost four pounds (down to 180 by their scale) and 5 inches! Yay!

My mom is here!
Yay!
I worked out this morning. There was a woman wearing a bright yellow shirt and tight black pants who was working out as well. I was over in the free weight section with a bunch of burly guys - and then this lady, probably about 55, standing in front of the mirror, and jumping around dancing. She was swaying her hips and sashaying back and forth. I went to get a drink, continuously watching her surreptitiously out of the side of my eye. I looked away and caught the eye of one of the burly guys and we both started grinning. It was difficult not to laugh out loud. Then, after I was done working out in that section, I went to the treadmills and did that for ten minutes. About five minutes in, she came over and got on the one next to me and started running, also swinging her hips as much as humanly possible while still going at a good clip. I stopped before my ten minutes were up. It was too hard not to laugh.
