The quilt top for our bed, finally done! And we've only been married for two-and-a-half years! Doesn't it look great? Now I just have to find backing material, buy batting, and get the behemoth quilted!

Seth's new quilt.
I found the cutest fabric yesterday at Joann's for the quilt for Seth's big boy bed. It's a little babyish, but it was too cute to pass up, and if he uses it for 3 or 4 years and then wants a new one, that's good for me! It has blue elephants on a brown background, and then there are a bunch of coordinating fabrics. It's so cute! The only thing that could have made it better is if it had had orange in it. But I think I'll put orange on the back and return the coordinating fabric that I got for the back. I don't like it very much, anyway.

The other set.
Here is the other set of cards that I made a couple of weeks ago. All of the paper colors are Stampin' Up! Rich Regals. I used six of eight stamps in a Stampin' Up! stamp set for the cards. This was a fun little exercise! I'll have to do it again sometime. Maybe once I buy the new Stampin' Up! colors. They are so pretty. . . .

Update
It is hard to sew when you're throwing up. That's what I learned this week. Seth got Jason and I both sick, and it was no fun. However, over the weekend, after Seth got sick and before I got sick, I did get a ton of scrapbooking done! So now that that's out of the way, I can get back to sewing!
In other news, I'm losing weight, and not just because I was just sick. Unfortunately, also not because I've been working out, because I haven't. Can you believe I haven't been to the gym since before we went to Illinois? How depressing. So, I can only guess that I'm losing weight because I'm losing muscle mass. That makes me sad. Poop.

Quilt pics
This is the quilt I quilted last night. I think it ranks up there as my second-least-favorite quilt I've ever made. Yuck. I've had the top done for years, so now it's finally quilted and some day soon I'll get it bound.
This quilt I like! It was meant for an infant, but I'm going to give it to Michelle for her baby Michael. I just didn't get it done quick enough for him! That's the story of my quilting life, though. Isn't it pretty?
What I've been doing . . .
I made some greeting cards. I used only Stampin' Up! Earth Elements paper (and of course, I don't think they even have Earth Elements any more - boo on them) except for the polka dot pattern paper. I figured I would start stocking up on stuff in case Lois and I do the Wimberly Days thing in October. It was fun to come up with new ideas. And I used a stamp set I hadn't used before. Which one is your favorite? I think mine is the third one down.
Baby quilts.
I have been making great progress on my baby quilts! Last night while Jason was working late I got another one quilted. I need to get some pictures so I can post them. I have one left to quilt. I still need to patch together the batting and find backing, so it's not very far along! I didn't baste the last one and there's quite a bit of buckling on the back - oops! This time I will do it right and not be lazy. . . . Nonetheless, the one I finished last night is really cute! Must get photos. . . .
